Energy and Buildings
To reach Net Zero Carbon emissions it will be important to deal with how we produce our energy and reduce our energy consumption.
This will include the ways we heat and design new buildings, while also retrofiting older buildings.
There is a need for renewables to replace fossil fuels, while carbon capture is also reguired.
Other issues include Divestment from fossil fuels,Smart local Grids,Carbon footprints and behaviour changes.
Action is reguired at several levels, individual, local councils, business, government and global.
Partmerships will help to deliver action plans over the next ten years.
